Add more images and descriptions. Include more clothes.
Extant clothes are rare. Fabric from worn clothes were often repurposed since fabric was valueable. Many a good garment might have ended up first as re-sewn to children clothes, then eventually as feet wrap of pillow filling when worn out. Clothes wither and fall appart with age. This is especially true for clothes that has been in the moist ground. Many extant clothes are found in graves, but graves tend to be in the ground which is far from ideal from a preservation perspective.
However, there are a range of extant clothes from different centuries. This article is an attempt to compile a list of a few of the relevant ones.
Due to my own scope of interest this list is focused on European clothing.
The aim with this list is to give ideas on what to search for when looking for patterns and more.
